A year in review: Milestones from 2024.

2024 has been a year of significant growth, innovation, and collaboration for allpay.

Here’s a look back at the key achievements and milestones that shaped our journey throughout the year.

January

We kicked off the year with the successful migration of over 14,000 user accounts to our Payments Hub. This transition provided users with a centralised and efficient platform for managing all of their payment needs, marking a significant improvement in our service delivery.

February

In February, we proudly supported National Apprenticeship Week. With a commitment to investing in the next generation of payments professionals, this initiative reflects our dedication to fostering talent and providing opportunities for growth within the industry.

March

In March, we celebrated several milestones, including the launch of our new website to enhance user experience and access to services. We also partnered with Voicescape to strengthen our Pay-by-Link solution and attended the National Housing Federation Finance Conference discussing the future of payments in housing. We also introduced our first edition of the allpay e-zine and secured our place on the Crown Commercial Service Open Banking and Fund Administration & Disbursement Services Dynamic Purchasing Systems, expanding our reach in critical sectors.

April

In April, allpay proudly earned the prestigious Mastercard Sustainability Badge, a recognition highlighting our dedication to implementing and promoting sustainable practices. This achievement underscores our commitment to environmental responsibility and corporate sustainability in the financial sector.

Additionally, our Director of Governance, Victoria Preece, joined an expert panel at NMITE's Security Week to discuss the theme ‘Security, are you thinking what I am thinking?’ supporting students as they showcased innovative solutions to enhance SME security in the legal sector.

May

In May, allpay celebrated its 30th birthday, having been founded in 1994, it was great to reflect on three decades of supporting the UK Public Sector. It has been an incredible journey with the whole business looking back at some of our incredible milestones to deliver the business we see today hearing from a number of our clients who were some of the first to adopt the allpay solution.

We also recognised the leadership contributions of Mary Cotton, promoting her to Deputy Managing Director.

June

In June, allpay strengthened its presence in the payments industry by partnering with Enfuce and attending Money 20/20 in Amsterdam to engage with global industry leaders.

We also atended Housing 2024 in Manchester, delivering a session alongside Voicescape.

Additionally, Richard Connelly was appointed as Director of Financial Services, enhancing our leadership team, and growing our financial services division.

July

In July, allpay joined the Procurement Assist Consortium’s Electronic Payment Services System.

This provided a strategic move that further expands our reach and enhances our ability to provide efficient payment solutions.

August

In August, allpay received the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award for our Team Leader Programme, a testament to our commitment to investing in team development and fostering talent within our organisation.

We also appointed Matt Marskell as Sales & Marketing Director, bringing fresh expertise to our leadership team.

We also announced new partnerships with Turn2us and the Workers' Educational Association (WEA) who both help to address financial insecurity and promote adult education.

September

In September, allpay achieved the Workplace Wellbeing Charter Accreditation from Health@Work, a recognition highlighting our commitment to prioritising our employee well-being and creating a supportive workplace environment.

Additionally, we were shortlisted for Medium-Large Business of the Year at the Hereford Means Business Awards, highlighting our dedication to excellence and our positive impact within the community.

October

In October, we attended the South East Consortium Conference in London, as well as the Hereford Means Business Conference and Awards, both of which we proudly sponsor. These events provided valuable opportunities to connect with industry leaders and support our local business community. We also achieved the ISO 27001:2022 Certification, marking a significant step in strengthening our information security practices.

November

In November, we joined the HQN RIEN event in Liverpool as sponsors, engaging with industry experts on best practices and innovations in the housing sector. Later in the month, we attended the Princess Royal Training Awards in London, where we proudly collected our award for our Team Leader Programme from The Princess Royal, recognising our commitment to developing leadership within our organisation.

December

In December, we joined industry peers at the Housing Association Partnership Network (HAPN) event, connecting with key players and exchanging insights on the latest in housing and payment solutions.
