As we conclude 2024, we are excited to share key product updates that have further strengthened allpay’s offerings.

Improved Account Setup for Virtual Bill Payment Cards

We’ve made it easier for you to set up customer accounts! Instead of using a tick box, you’ll now see a simple toggle option to choose between creating a physical card or a virtual card.

If you choose a virtual card, there’s now a space to add an email address. This is getting ready for a future update, where customers will be able to receive their virtual cards via email to use online.

These changes are designed to make the process smoother and more user-friendly!

Pay-by-Link V2 – Trial Update

We’re thrilled to share that the trial for Pay-by-Link V2 is going really well, with great feedback from early testers!

The new features, like better security, an easier-to-use design, and improved tools for tracking payments, are already making a big difference. Testers have found it simpler to use and feel more confident about security, while the tracking tools are giving helpful insights into how customers pay and what trends are emerging.

We’re fine-tuning things based on feedback and look forward to launching it fully soon!

Organisation & People Services – Platform Upgrade

We’ve made an important upgrade to improve the stability of our platform, ensuring smooth access to the Payments Hub, even when there’s a lot of activity. By containerising the Organisation & People services, we’ve made the system more reliable and able to handle more users at once, leading to a better user experience.

Payment Holidays & Welsh Letters – New Features

We’re working on two great improvements for our Direct Debit service: Payment Holidays and Welsh Letters.

Payment Holidays will allow customers to pause their payments for certain periods, giving them more financial flexibility. The Welsh Letters feature will make it possible for us to send Direct Debit notifications in Welsh, making sure we meet the needs of our Welsh-speaking customers and follow regional rules.

Both features are still being developed, and we’ll share more details soon as we get closer to the official release.
