This quarter, we've introduced a range of new features and improvements designed to streamline operations, enhance security, and provide you with more control. From major updates to Totalconnect and our mobile apps to the launch of new products like Files via API and Pay by Link V2, our focus has been on creating solutions that empower your organisation.
Allpayments & allpay app enhancements
We've significantly enhanced our Allpayments and mobile app platforms to improve user experience. These upgrades include a more intuitive navigation system, a refreshed login and registration process, a responsive design that adapts to any device, and improved help and support features. These changes aim to deliver a smoother, more user-friendly experience for all our customers.
CoP responder
Confirmation of Payee (CoP) responder has been added to our prepaid accounts to verify the account name of our cardholders prior to a payment being made onto their prepaid account. When a payment is being made onto a prepaid card, our system will respond to CoP requests and confirm whether the intended recipient is the account holder. Reduced risk of misdirected payments, CoP Responder provides reassurance that payments are being made onto the intended account. If you are an allpay prepaid cardholder and wish to opt out of this service, please contact our client services team at enquiries@allpay.net.
Totalconnect update
We’re excited to introduce several new features to Totalconnect, designed to streamline data handling and enhance efficiency. The new client code selector now allows users to choose specific client codes for automated downloads of Payment and Information files. Additionally, our new traffic light system provides a visual indicator of file availability, making file management more intuitive. For added convenience, Totalconnect now supports network drive integration, enabling direct access to shared folders for seamless downloads.
Files via API
We’re thrilled to announce that our new "Files via API" product has entered the trial phase. Following successful development, we’re eager to gather feedback from real-world users to ensure that the product meets your needs and expectations.
Pay by Link V2
The next version of our Pay by Link solution is nearly here! With development now complete, the trial phase will begin within the next month. Pay by Link V2 is packed with enhanced features to streamline the payment process, including stronger security measures, a more intuitive interface, and advanced analytics that provide in-depth insights into payment trends and customer behaviour.
Client code descriptions
We’re pleased to inform you that you can now update your client code descriptions directly within your organisation settings, eliminating the need to contact allpay support. These updates will be automatically reflected across all platforms, including the Direct Debit portal, ensuring a consistent experience.
In-product notification update
To keep you better informed, we've upgraded our in-product notifications banner. This enhanced feature delivers timely and relevant messages directly to your workspace, ensuring that you're always up-to-date with the latest information.
App containerisation
We’re modernising our payment processing infrastructure to enhance stability and performance within the Payments Hub. This upgrade involves transitioning to a containerised app solution, replacing the existing Service Fabric processing nodes. This modernisation effort is set to significantly improve the reliability of our platform.
Improved Customer Account Manager experience
We’ve added new features to improve your account management process within the Customer Account Manager. The "Accounts Awaiting Approval" tile now shows the number of accounts pending approval, allowing you to quickly assess your workload. Additionally, the "Submitted Accounts" page now offers clear visibility into who created and approved accounts, simplifying auditing and accountability.
Removing Webconnect dependencies
As part of our ongoing commitment to security and compliance, we’re phasing out Webconnect. You’ll notice that several of our products have been updated to remove any Webconnect-related features, with data management now centralised within the Payments Hub.
